Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your sweet thoughts, words, and prayers during my time of loss. You all are so kind and considerate, and I'm blessed to know each and every one of you. Thank you for making my life brighter and for bringing a smile to my face. Losing Toby has been so hard, and I'm still finding myself singing to him here at the house and just yelling him name, pretending he will pop around the corner. I know it will take time, but with friends like you, I know I will make it through. xoxo times a million!

1. I started my blog because...I wanted to do the Project 365 and share my photos with family and friends. Then, my blog developed into so much more. I started blogging about my happiness, my struggles, and everything in between. I gained friends and support, and this blog truly became a blessing for me. And all the while, I'm still able to document my life and share with all my loved ones. :)

2. One thing I love seeing on other blogs...is real stuff. I love reading blog posts by my friends that are open and vulnerable. It shows that we are all the same and we all go through hard times. I'm able to relate to others, offer advice, and even seek it sometimes. I also love reading about other people's weird, quirky habits! It makes me feel normal. ;)

3. Something I love about blogging...is being able to "blog it out." I turn to my blog to let my feelings out a lot of times. Sometimes, they remain as drafts, and that's okay too.

4. A favorite blog post of mine is probably...the stories where I reminicse about me and Ethan. Our memories warm my heart.

5. Something my friends in real life know about me that I've never before mentioned on my blog is...that I have my moments. I'm always promoting happiness and positivity because as my subtitle says, I believe you should "think happy & be happy." But, I'm human. I have my sad moments. My negative moments. My moments where I feel like life isn't ever going to get better. But thinking happy is what gets me past those moments.

6. A new favorite blog to read is...AunieSauce! Aunie is such a beautiful person. Her blog is so addicting and fun to read! Go check her out too! ;)

7. Some things I tend to avoid doing on my blog are...being overly negative and writing things that I know might hurt someone. Even though this is MY blog and MY thoughts, I'm always trying to consider other people's feelings.

Toby Woby, I'll love and miss you forever.

A part of me died early this morning around 12:30am. Our sweet, precious Toby Garrett made his way to Heaven after 13 beautiful years on Earth. He has blessed and enriched our lives more than we ever believed possible.

{Celebrating his 13th birthday just last month!}

Toby and I grew up together, and as silly as it sounds, we were best friends. He's been there for me through all the ups and downs of my childhood and teenage years, never told any of my secrets, and loved me no matter what. I mean, what more could I ask for?

{2007}

Over the past year, we have bonded more than ever. I can't explain it, but we got closer. We really did. And I feel blessed for the opportunities I had to spend a lot of time with him during his last year and for all the memories we have ever made. I will forever cherish all those special moments.

{2010}

I want to believe with all my heart that God has a special place for our beloved pets in Heaven. I have been researching it, and it seems that everyone else wants to believe so too. I want to think that Toby ran straight into Jesus' arms. I want to think he is happy, youthful, and healthy with no knots on his body. No tumors. No cataracts. No arthritis. I want to think he is running in a big field playing with our other pets - hair flowing, smiling, just waiting to see his family again.

Do you think pets go to Heaven? Will I be able to look into those big brown eyes again that have melted my heart all these years?

Heartbroken doesn't even begin to describe how I feel right now. I wish I could say I am numb, but I'm not.

I'm sad. I can't stop crying. I miss him so bad that I literally get sick. I am mad that he's gone. I'm selfish because I want him here. But then, my emotions turn a complete 360 and I feel thankful to have known him, to have held him, to have loved him. I'm happy that he is pain free now. I laugh when I think of funny stories. I smile at his pictures. And then I cry again.

I am all over the place.

One thing is for certain though, he went out of this world surrounded by LOVE.
He knew how much we loved him, and passed away with Mama holding him close.
He was one blessed little boy, but not as blessed as we.

Please pray for my family, especially my Mama. He was her child!

3. If my life were a movie right now, the title would be..."Day by Day" because it's how I have learned to take life - one day at a time!

Kindle Fi-yah!

I made my second purchase off of my
2012 Wishlist!

A couple weeks ago, I purchased the Kindle Fire from Office Max! My sweet friend Kristina knew how bad I was wanting this, and she sent me a coupon for 20% at Office Max!
$40 OFF!!!

I couldn't pass that up. I knew I probably wouldn't get an opportunity like that again. Since they didn't have any in store at the time, I ordered one, and it came in yesterday!

I. Am. So. Stinking. Excited!!!!

The funny thing is that Ethan is mad at me for buying it! When I showed him last night, he said, "Why did you buy that?!" I replied, "Um. Because I wanted it?"

He then proceeded to tell me that he was going to buy that for me and that I ruined it. Now seriously, how was I supposed to know that? Hahaha! I think he understood why I did give in and buy it once I explained the coupon story. ;)

Now he can just buy me something else!

Last week I purchased the iPhone 4S, and yesterday I picked it up from Verizon!

I've been wanting this phone for such a long time, and I'm so happy I finally have it! I use my phone for everything. And I mean, everything...so this phone is just absolutely perfect for me! It's probably not a good idea though that I got it at the beginning of the semester because all I want to do is play with it! ;)

So, I was just sitting here looking at my Blogger dashboard and noticed the date of my last post. January 10th, 2012. That date stood out to me, and I got to thinking. There is something special about that day. What is it? What did I miss?! Then all at once, it hit me. Yesterday was my 2nd Blogoversary and absent minded me didn't realize it was too late. It's now January 11th, and my litte reminder button that was hidden away on my 'about me' page is telling me...

Now I'm a ~~little~~ really sad because I didn't get to mention a thing about it yesterday. Not one tweet. Not one post. Not one word.

Blog, I know this post isn't as nice as last year's, but you know I love you or else I wouldn't write to you almost every day. ;) So...anyway...

Now, I'm moving on to my One Tree Hill obsession!
In the summer of 2006, I was introduced to One Tree Hill by some of my close friends. While hanging out at the lake, my friend Tyler told me that I should start watching it and said that once I started, I would be hooked and wouldn't be able to stop. I had never watched a TV show that I loved that much, so I assured him that would not happen.

I borrowed season 1 from our friend Dave that night, and took it home with me. Andddd I may or may not have stayed up until 5:00am watching it, finishing the season in 1.5 days. Pure ridiculousness. I absolutely adored it and fell head over heels in love with the characters and story line. Needless to say, I've been smitten since!

I will admit that as the seasons went on, especially after season 5, the show became corny and unfortunately had a lot less drama. However, because I was in love with everything about it, I never gave it up. So for 8 seasons, I have been a loving, devoted fan and glued myself to the TV for every new OTH episode.

Tonight begins the final season of One Tree Hill.
Tonight is the last premiere episode I will ever see.
SAD DAY.

9 years is a good run though! And on the bright side, Ethan and I will be watching together while eating some awesome takeout! Also, this season looks pre-tty amazing...

I mean, is this shiz for real?

Official Preview

I Am Still On Cloud 9

I am still floating on Cloud 9 after watching Alabama win the national championship over undefeated LSU!

This marks the first shutout in a national championship game since the 1992 Orange Bowl, but the first ever shutout in a BCS bowl game!

This also marks Nick Saban's 3rd national championship (2nd one with Alabama) making him the only active coach with 3 national titles. He and my other hero Paul "Bear" Bryant are also the only coaches to win a SEC championship at two different schools!

Alabama played almost perfect.
No turnovers. Only one penalty at the very end of the game.
And Jeremy Shelley found redemption by kicking 5 field goals!

I'm not boasting, really. I'm just so proud of my team! I've loved them through the highs and lows, the good and the bad. Moments like this just make it worth it! Not many people get to see their team win the title in their lifetime, and I'm just thankful to say I've seen Alabama win it twice! :)

1. One of my favorite things to do when I have free time is...spend time with Ethan!

2. When I have free time I tend to...waste time! I get distracted by TV and Blogger/Pinterest, then my day wastes away! Haha!

3. If I had an entire day completely to myself I would...get up and drink a cup of coffee, read a book on the balcony, do a little crafting, take a long bubble bath, give myself a facial/mani/pedi, and then curl up in a blanket with Lilah and ice cream to watch a girly movie. :)

4. I would prefer to spend my free time (alone or with others...)...either alone or with others. I loooove doing things with my family and friends, but I love my me time too. :)

5. Most of my free time happens...when I'm on school breaks!

6. The best thing about free time is...you have no obligations or responsibilities!

7. The next time I have free time I should probably ...edit, which is actually what I'm doing now. I'm just taking a little break. ;)

Wilmore Baby Gender Reveal!

A couple months ago, I wrote a post about being an aunt again! My oldest brother Joshua and his wife Dennetria are pregnant with their first baby!

Today was the big day! Josh, Dennetria, Mama, and Dennetria's mother all went to the doctor for the ultrasound to find out if Baby Wilmore is a boy or girl.

I am so thrilled to announce that...

I am so excited I could just burst! They are having a BABY BOY!!! I can't explain to you how happy this news makes me. Although I would have been ecstatic with a girl too, I just really wanted a boy for them. Baby W carries on the Wilmore name, and Dennetria finally gets a boy in her family! She has two sisters, an aunt, and two girl first cousins. There are no boys in their family!

Also, this makes an even 8 nieces and nephews for me—4 girls and now 4 boys. :)

Oh, I can't wait to hold that sweet baby in my arms and tell him how much I love him! He just doesn't know how loved he already is.

Unfortunately, this is just a dream item. I don't think I'm going to have an extra $1500 to spend this year, but hey! This is a wishlist, right?! I am just dying to upgrade my DSLR!

5. Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens
And as I said above, this is also just a dream item! This lens is the perfect all around lens, but cost over $1200!

6. Toms Ash Canvas Classics
There are probably 15 Toms shoes that I want, but these are the ones I want first! They will match so many outfits, and I love the simple look!

7. A Craft Desk
Not this one in particular! Although I love it, it costs $700! I just want a craft desk, in general. It would make my life a lot easier and of course crafting more fun!

8. Chi Deep Brilliance Low Emf Hair Dryer
I am very eager to buy this! Lindsey at The Bargain Blonde recommends this hair dryer! Because I have ridiculously long and thick hair, she says I definitely need this bad boy! It dries your hair a lot faster! And considering it takes me almost 2 hours to dry my hair, I think I could benefit from it!

9. Facebook Stamps
I think this would be so fun to use as a teacher! Perhaps not the dislike one as much, but I would love to stamp the "like" one on their papers when I see something they did well! I think the students would relate to it and love it!

10. Kindle Fire
This will be one of the first things I get! I've been wanting this thing for months now!

So, guess who is bringing in the new year with a cold?!
This is Day 4. Ugh, I'm miserable.

My throat is itchy, and my eyes are watery.
My nose is stuffy, and I'm sneezing 62 times a minute.
My head aches, and I'm coughing after I every breath.
This is not fun.

However, staying in my pajamas all day and being spoiled by my boyfriend with loving and chicken noodle soup wasn't that bad. ;)

I'm kind of craving some tea, so I think I will make myself get up, drag myself to the kitchen, and make me some! It would be perfect on this lazy, winter night!

I am a believer that a fresh start can happen at any point, and that resolutions can be made at any time of the year, but there is just something special about January 1st. It's a new year, a fresh start! It's a chance for a new beginning with so many opportunities to be hopeful and optimistic for!

I'll be honest, 2011 wasn't the best year for me, but God blessed me in more ways than I realize. I am so thankful for the lessons learned, the friends I've met, the memories made, and even the tears I cried because with each success and failure and with each happy and sad moment, I became a stronger, wiser, and better person!

Now onto the fun stuff, here are my

1. Be more active
I say this every year, but I'm serious this time. I want to run at least 3 times a week.

2. Do photography for me again
I miss the passion I used to have for it. I loved taking pictures for my enjoyment and editing them as I pleased. I don't mean to sound selfish, but I kind of lost the love for it once I started doing photography strictly as a business. I want to have fun with it again!

3. Save money
Once I get the urge to buy something that I don't need, I want to put it away and think of all the important things I want to do with that cash.

4. Read, read, read
I love to read, but I just never take the time for it anymore. Hopefully I will begin my new reading adventures this month with the help of a Kindle Fire! ;)

5. Craft my little heart out
I want to complete at least one project every month, and then some! It's something that I have put aside this past year because if I wasn't studying, I knew I needed to be working on my photo sessions. I want to start on that very long 'projects to do' list. :)

6. Make coffee on most mornings
I absolutely love coffee, but I stink at making it! I want to learn how to make good coffee, and stop giving Starbucks all my money!

7. Prepare at least one meal a week
I know that doesn't sound like much, but it really is to a college student! I need to get in touch with my domestic side again! ;)

8. Lose some more weight and firm up
When I started college, I gained around 12 pounds all in my butt, legs, and hips! Now, I am 2 lbs from my high school weight - which is the weight that I've been working toward! But still, I want to shape up some more for spring and summer, hence the running! :)

9. Let go
I want to let go, and let God. Some worries are just beyond my control, and I want to simply let them go.

10. Have more date nights with my love
We are both so busy, and I think it's important for us to find our time between all the stresses of work and school! Whether it's cooking together, going for a walk, or just watching a movie, I absolutely want to do more fun things with E this year! :)

11. Eliminate
Everyone knows I love to clean and organize anyway! My goal is to eliminate and clean out junk and useless items from not only my apartment, but also from my parent's home! Years of accumulation just sit in boxes and bins, and others could be finding enjoyment with these items. I want to help my mom re-organize the attic and house!

12. Graduate college
I have 21 hours to complete before the fall semester, so that I will be able to student teach. It's exciting to think that this year, 2012, is the year I've thought about since I was a little girl - the year I would be the first one from my family to graduate from college! So...

1. New Years is...hopeful. Every year, I'm hopeful and optimistic that that year is going to be amazing. And that's a good feeling to have! :)

2. One of my New Year's resolutions will be...to not take on too many stresses. I often load my plate down, and I really want to stop doing that. I do not want to feel guilty for sitting down to read or craft "because I should be doing something else!"

3. A New Year's resolution I've made in the past was to...stop drinking so many cokes! It'll last for awhile, but I never kick the habit completely!

4. The most time consuming resolution I ever made was...to complete the Project 365 in 2010! Ohmaword. That was so freakin' time consuming! And I was bored after Day 30.

5. This year I will be spending New Year's Eve...with my lover boy! He's the only one I want to be with on NYE! :)

6. If I could wish one thing for my new year it would be...financial security! Not to be rich...just secure!

7. 2012 is going to be... adventurous. I will be starting teaching and graduating. I will hopefully be taking a vacation. Krystal and I are starting up a little somethin' somethin'...I'm hoping its amazing and successful! :)

I am so proud of him. He just started a new job, and he has been working his tail off for the past couple of weeks with only enough time to eat and sleep when he's home. Is Spring Here Yet?

The most wonderful time of the year has come and gone so fast, and now...

Unfortunately, I am just not a winter girl! I love winter clothing. Sweaters, boots, Northface, and whatnot! And I love winter food. Hot chocolate and delicious soups and chili. But, when it comes to icy roads, freezing my toosh, and staying inside all the time. Well, I'm just not a fan! Especially after Christmas! I mean, all the magic of winter is suddenly gone come December 26th.

So today, I am counting down to Spring!
And sandals, shorts, floral clothing, sunglasses, spring colors, Easter, nature blooming, warm sunshine, my birthday, Ethan's birthday, and other awesomeness!

And I may or may not be shopping for bikinis from Victoria's Secret right now because we all know that summer is not far behind!
Who knows? Maybe I can talk Ethan into a beach trip for Spring Break! ;)

It is our Senior year after all!

English Buddies

As an upper division Secondary Education English major at TTU, you are enrolled in mainly English and Education courses. Therefore, you are in the same classes with the same people for several semesters. And lucky for me, my classmates are not your average, boring, weird English freaks as you would imagine them being.

They're awesome, hilarious, and full of fun!

Tonight, our READ 4411 teacher took our small class of 13 to Chili's for our final! We had an awesome time hanging out, eating good food, and talking about things other than English and teaching. When the party started winding down and our teacher and classmates started to leave, Sydney, Lacey, Chelsea, Melissa, and I stayed after to hang out. We talked and laughed some more and share some not-so-appropriate, but amazingly funny stories, ordered some drinks, and had a freakin' blast!

It was a perfect end to this crazy, stressful semester! And we've already decided that it should happen more often! :)

Completely made my week!

The other night I was searching through my cabinets in the bathroom for some curling spray and mousse. While I was looking, I found a bottle of Sunsilk hair serum towards the back. I had totally forgot I even owned this stuff, so I took it out, looked at it, then opened it up to smell it...

As soon as I did, I got this huge knot in my stomach and I literally gasped. It took my breath away - not because it was a bad smell, but because it was an amazingly good smell. I couldn't believe something as simple as the smell of Sunsilk could trigger something like this inside me because when I smelled it, it immediately took me back to a special time in my life—my senior year of high school.

For a moment,
I felt like I was 17 again.

When I was a senior, I bought this hair serum to help with the little frizzies around my face. I remember buying this around the time Ethan's basketball season started, and I used it every day! This smell is how my hair smelled my senior year, and this little scent took me back to 2008. All I could picture as I was standing there in my bathroom was sitting in a gym, watching Ethan play basketball. And being in high school with no financial problems, no responsibilities, no worries. Life was a piece of cake.

Here we are on his senior night! My shirt says "ERB is my man"...and he still is! ;)

And all of a sudden, I was overcome with emotion. Part of that being the fact that I am so stressed and already so emotional anyway, but another part being that I tell Ethan all that time I wish we could go back. Just to relive it all over again.

Am I completely crazy for being such a sap about this?!
I mean, I know I'm a girly girl, but who knew a hair product could change a girl's life? ;)

1. The holiday season is...is magical!

2. Snow makes me...feel cozy! I like to play in it, but most of all, I like to sit inside wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and watch it fall outside the window!

3. The best comfort food to eat when it's cold out is...any sort of soup or chili! Yummmm!

4. Winter is the best time for...staying cozy inside and watching movies with your loved ones. :)

5. I can hardly wait to...have all of my nieces and nephews over for a Christmas project night!

6. When it comes to holiday gifts I prefer to....make them myself, but if I don't have time, I prefer to make my gifts personable. I don't just pick out anything! I make sure that person will LOVE it!

7. If I were to rate my excitement about the holiday season on a scale from 1-10, I would say I am at about a...10 because I love it! But maybe a 2 on the financial standpoint. Ha!

A Time To Give

I feel behind because I haven't been about to blog as much lately, but thankfully, there is only a week and a half left until winter break. Then, I will be able to let so many of my stresses go away - even if it's for a short time. :)

Tonight, I want to share a quick story with you guys because this is something that truly touched me, and I am hoping that it will have the same effect for you!

During my shift at Claire's last night, a sweet, young woman came in the store. She walked up to me and asked if we had any hemp jewelry. Unfortunately, we didn't, but I went on to show her some similar styles and also showed her some other earthy, Bohemian type jewelry that I thought she might be interested in. (Suggestive selling - my boss would be proud!) After I started asking questions about the person she was buying for, she me that she didn't know her because she was an "angel" from an angel tree.

For those who are not familiar with angel trees, here is a quick description: Around Christmas time, many organizations and businesses will put out Christmas trees that have paper angels hanging on them with information about someone in need on the back of the card. All the cards are anonymous to the buyer, but will have information such as sizes, interests, wishlists, etc. People will pick an angel, register them, buy for them within a spending limit, and then drop the gift(s) off at the place they picked they angel up for that person. :)

All she knew about her angel was that she was 17, her wishlist items, and that she lives in this orphanage-type home. Most of the kids there come from bad homes and many of them come from parents who are druggies. These kids are so unfortunate, and what is supposed to be a happy time of the year for them, is actually a very sad time.

As I was talking to the lady, she went on to tell me that she and her family celebrate birthdays in a big way, but Christmas time was about others. She said that they are raising their two year old daughter to remember that Christmas is not about tons of presents for them, but about giving to help others.

She said,
"We give to others and buy for those who need it, and that's the best Christmas gift for us."

It touched my heart so deeply and made me happy to know that there are such kind souls still out there.

I just wanted to share this with you guys to encourage you to give this Christmas - even to people you don't know. Make someone's Christmas a blessing. We should all stop worrying about material things for ourselves, and start caring about those who have much less than we have. Of course I'm not saying don't buy for your family and friends! I'm just encouraging you to think about others! When you're buying another gift for your child, buy one for Toys for Tots or another organization. Or when you're buying new clothes for yourself, think about the many woman and men who are freezing because they don't have warm clothing. Then buy some new clothes to give or donate some of yours to families or organizations!

There are many ways to give, and they don't have to come in the form of elaborate gifts. Simply cooking a meal for a family or organizing a Christmas dinner for your community would be perfect - or you could buy Christmas trees or stockings for families with children who can't afford decorations.

The possibilities are endless.

Spread a little Christmas cheer, everyone!

1. A nervous habit I have is...not biting my nails, but picking at them. I do it without even realizing it if I'm nervous or scared about something.

2. Something that makes me sad is...the way people treat animals. They are put on this Earth by GOD for our enjoyment and for food. Animals are not meant to be tortured and abused. It makes me sick to my stomach when I see or hear about things happening - absolutely sick. I wish I could do the same thing to those people.
Animals can't talk, but they can feel!

3. Today I am thankful for...my precious Lilah Belle who is just overly excited every single time I walk through the door. What would I do without her? :)

4. My favorite room in my house is...my kitchen at night. It's lit up with a small lamp, my Eiffel Tower, and a Scentsy night light. It always looks so pretty and cozy - and of course smells good too. :)

5. I can't stand...drama. Simple as that. Just be kind to one another.

6. If I had an extra $100 to spend on whatever I wanted today I would...buy the rest of Ethan's Christmas present! There's one more thing that I know I am getting him. :)

7. The last person I hung out with was...Ethan! He brought over Subway cookies and milk last night. :)

Small Town Girl
I am very thankful for my hometown because its a small town. I was raised in a safe, loving environment in community full of wonderful people. My hometown isn't perfect, but I know there are so many people who would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. I love being from a small town in Tennessee, where I attended a K-12 school with about 800 students in its entirely and where I attend a sweet little country church because that church family is your family! Don't get me wrong, I love the city, but I am thankful for my hometown. :)

Today's topic is all about Internet fun!

Blogger
I am so thankful for Blogger and the wonderful, amazing people I have met through my blog. My blog allows me to document my life and thoughts, and it's a way for me to share my life with friends and family. And to make it even better, I have met some of the sweetest people and some of my close friends through this blog. I'm not sure I could ever do without it as this point!

Twitter
Until I made "blog friends," I did not use Twitter. No one I knew around here used it on a daily basis, so it felt pointless to update a Twitter account for no one to see. However, now I use it all the time to keep in touch with those who I don't have on my Facebook. I am constantly receiving love, support, and encouragement from you guys on Twitter, and you make my day every day! :)

Pinterest
I have had my Pinterest account for awhile, and again, I am so thankful for it. It provides me with constant inspiration for cooking, decorating, style, etc. I have relied on Pinterest for many things this year, and it never disappoints me!

Facebook
I don't enjoy Facebook near as much as I used to because it seems to be a place for drama and troublemakers now. It used to be a way to share and connect with friends and family, but now it is a place where people can judge others and hide behind a computer screen to make others feel bad. It's not as fun, but I still enjoy it, and I'm still thankful for it because I love to be able to connect with the good and positive on my friends list. I just erase and delete those who spread hatred or create negativity for myself or others because I don't have to associate with them. :)

You Tube
I love being able to look up funny videos! Pretty much anything you would want to see or listen to is on that website - so I'm definitely thankful for it as well!

Google
My philosophy in life is if you don't know it, google it. :)
Okay, it's not really, but it's true! What would I would do without Google?!

Plenty To Be Thankful For: Guilty Pleasures!

I'm a sucker for a good Holiday link up, but I'm usually late for them. So when I came across sweet Caroline's page and saw the "Plenty To Be Thankful For" series on Day 1...I was pretty stoked. :)

Today's topic is guilty pleasures, and boy do I have those. ;)
The guilty pleasures I am thankful for are:

Starbucks Lattes
I wish they were bottomless and about 1/4 of the price. But that's okay. That $5.70 a grande is totally worth it. :)

Twilight Saga
I know, I know! It's corny and dramatic, but totally awesome. Admit it. P.S. Mama and I have a date to see it this weekend. It's a tradition. We watched the first 3 together, so I wouldn't have it any other way now!

Chocolate Icing
I've been known to eat a spoonful every time I go to the fridge. Therefore, I create reasons to open said fridge.
Hmmm, when does the milk expire? or I wonder if the light bulb still works.
You know, important things like that!

TV
I watch wayyyy too much of it, and I am slightly embarrassed about that.

Mexican Food
If I could have an enchilada and Mexican rice with cheese every day, I would be a happy girl.

Ones that just tug at your heart or stay on your mind all day because you either love them so much or you relate to them in some way? It happens to me sometimes, but it's not frequent by any means. I guess that's why if I find those lyrics, I'm excited about them!

And that's why I want to share with you the lyrics I discovered over the weekend. You may already know or if you read my post yesterday, I'm a Miranda lover. But these lyrics didn't come from Mrs. Shelton! These lyrics came Miss Taylor Swift.

Since I never bought her Speak Now album, I had only listened the songs on the radio, so I had not heard "Ours" until she sang it on the CMA's. Because I had night class on Wednesday night, I watched the awards this weekend at home. As I listened to her performance, the lyrics just spoke to me. I was overwhelmed because really, I'm not that in touch with music. I adore it, and I sing all the time. I own an iPod touch full of songs, and it is impossible for me to drive without something playing, but I've never been emotionally connected with music like I have been photography.

So, I feel like it's a first for me. The first time I have felt in touch with a lyric, and it is the first time I have ever truly appreciated one by Taylor to be honest.

Here is my favorite part.

HEY!
I miss you.

I have not blogged in almost a week. And that is so not like me. Honestly, it makes me sad! I've just had so much to do this week with school - one thing being that I created 8 lesson plans! So...that on top of not having Internet at the apartment has really made it hard for me to find the time to blog. I should probably think about scheduling posts throughout the week. :)

Anyway, I have so much to catch up on that I can't even deal, but I'm going to start with the most exciting news!

And I am so unbelievably happy about it! I am slowing down with my photography business and only accepting limited sessions this spring because I wanted a stable job that I would be able to handle better with school. I officially started yesterday on 11/11/11. So far, I am in love with my new job, and I just know I'm truly going to enjoy working there. The company is so awesome, and my boss is amazing! Tiffany has been so good to me. I really got lucky! :)

Gorgeous Day

God gave us a gorgeous Fall Sunday here in Tennessee today!
It was absolutely perfect. And for some reason, today I felt closer to God than usual.
My heart could burst with love and thankfulness for Him and the blessings He has put in my life. I am so happy He is in my heart because I couldn't imagine this life without Him in it.

I'm thankful for my parents who love me unconditionally, for my best friend who is there for me every minute of her life, for my sweet Lilah Belle who puts a smile on my face every day, for my family and friends who are some of the best people in the world, and for my wonderful boyfriend and soulmate who makes my life complete.

My family is not wealthy, but they're healthy.
My family is not big, but we are close.
My family is not perfect, but they are good!

Thank you God for everything!
I pray he continues to bless our family

1. My favorite thing about this week was/is...when E took me out on a spontaneous lunch date and bought me two movies on Monday! :)

2. Colder weather makes me...thankful to have a warm apartment to live in. I love to cozy up with Lilah, a warm blanket, and fuzzy socks!

3. Three things that make me terribly happy as of late are...painting my fingernails, wearing my brown leather boots, and my BFF.

4. If I could only wear one kind of shoe for the rest of my life, I'd choose...ballet flats just because they are versatile. They can be dressed up or down, and you can wear them any season with jeans, shorts, or dresses. Although I prefer not to, but you can. :)

5. My personality type is...TYPE A. No questions asked. I'm a a perfectionist.

6. I have a serious problem resisting...Mountatin Dew. It's horrible for me, but it tastes good with everything!

7. My favorite color to wear is...purple! It goes good with my blonde hair and green eyes. :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
I hope you have all had a wonderful night! I was hoping to get our Halloween party pictures up today, but it's not going to happen. I've been so busy! Maybe tomorrow? For now, I'm going to answer some fun Halloween questions!

1. Are you doing something fun for Halloween?
No. Ethan and I are sitting across from each other in the library right now. He's working on a lab, and I'm procrastinating homework. We are watching a movie later though. :)

2. Favorite Halloween movie?
Halloween, Hocus Pocus, and The Nightmare Before Christmas!

3. Halloween costume this year?
I was a witch! Check me out!

4. Favorite Horror movie?
I've always loved Halloween, but I'm a fan of the real stuff. "The Strangers" creeped me out!

5. Best Halloween/Fall themed food?
I love pumpkin anything! However, chili and vegetable soup is amazing on a cold night around a bonfire.

6. Your first horror movie?
I think it was Scream! One summer, Mama let me and my cousin Lacey rent every scary movie at the movie store. I'm talking EVERY. SINGLE. ONE! She came down from Illinois and stayed with us for 2 weeks. It was amazing.

5. What type of monster do you want to be?
A vampire. Muahaha.

6. Favorite Halloween character?
Jack Skellington.

7. One of your paranormal experiences?
Yes! We live in a house that is over 100 years old, and someone actually died in our house. One night while I was on the phone upstairs, I heard this voice singing downstairs. I yelled, "Mom??" And it stopped! I started talking again, and then I heard the singing again, and it started getting louder. I went to the stairs and still heard it, and as I started down them, it stopped again. I was the only one home! I wasn't even scared though. I was excited! Haha!

8. Do you believe in witchcraft?
Nah.

9. Best costume you’ve ever worn?
When I was in 2nd grade, I was a red M&M, and it was pretty snazzy.

10. Favorite candy?
Reese's and gummy worms!

11. How do you act when watching a scary movie?
Scary movies don't bother me at all! I watch them like any other movie - just a little more intense. ;)

12. Best pumpkin carving you’ve done?
Nothing special! I don't use stencils or anything. I just like carving the old fashioned face!

13. Do you believe in ghosts/spirits?
I like to think they're real. :)

14. Halloween decoration tips?
Be original and creative! And just have fun with it!

15. What do you use to hold candy when you trick or treat?
I used to use those cute little Halloween pumpkins - you know the ones that flop around when you run back to the car and you end up losing all your candy!

16. Your Halloween traditions?
No certain ones! I usually just always watch Halloween movies! But, we started a tradition this year with our family Halloween party - which is formally named "Spookfest!"

17. Best Halloween pranks or dares?
Well of course there is rolling houses, but I love what we did with the kids in our family - snipe hunting! ;)

18. Biggest fear?
Losing a loved one and failure!

19. Opinion on October weather?
Perfection! It's not too cold - just cool enough to make it feel like Fall! :)

20. First Halloween costume?
Mama and Daddy dressed me as Raggedy Ann!

I always hated Twizzlers!

22. Why do you love Halloween?
It is just so fun to dress up and play make believe! And who doesn't like to be scared? :)

We had our party last night, and it was a BLAST!

I'm not getting to pass any out this year, but I think Mama is passing out tootsie pops, bubble gum, sweet tarts, and maybe some assorted chocolates!

I was Michael Jackson in 2009. It wasn't really creative, but it was fun to put together!

28. What is your favorite Halloween memory?
Trick-or-treating with my best friend every year and rolling houses with my friends!

Mama makes the best apple cider! Yum! But, I also love my Pumpkin Spice Lattes!

30. The Addams Family or The Munsters?
Can I choose both?! The Addams Family was my generation, but I really love The Munsters!

31. Any plans for next years costume?
I think I want to be a peacock! :)

Now I'm already looking forward to spending Thanksgiving Break with my family and getting fat on turkey and dressing! Yummm. :)

Special News!

I promised yesterday that I was going to share some special news!
And here it is...

My big brother Josh and sister-in-law Dennetria...

ARE PREGNANT
with their first precious baby!

She is still early, but we have the go ahead to announce it! They are estimating that she will be due in June. Our family is so unbelievably happy and excited, and we can't wait to hold Baby Wilmore in our arms. :)

God has blessed our family tremendously. We lost Mama Opal September 3rd, 2011, and we have estimated that Baby was conceived around the same time. God works in mysterious ways. He was ready for Mama Opal, but he blessed us with a new life.

The 'Best' Best Friend!

I just want to write a post to say
how much I love and appreciate my best friend...

She has been here for me since the beginning of our friendship, but lately more than ever. And that's when I've needed her most. Whatever the stresses or worries are, she is always there to comfort me, offer advice, or make me laugh! I'm so blessed that God placed her in my life almost two years ago, and I'm absolutely certain that He did. It wasn't by chance that we became friends and bonded quickly. I know it was God's plan all along. I prayed for about 5 months for God to place a best friend in my life. Around late 2009/early 2010, we became acquaintances, and by March, we had planned a shopping trip with our mutual friend Katie. Since that day, we have been the best of friends. I know that God answered my prayers, and I thank Him every night for her!

I have Ethan as a best friend, yes. And he's amazing, don't get me wrong. But, he just didn't fill the void of a close girlfriend. You know, the one you immediately call when something hilarious happens, or when you see something utterly stupid on Facebook that you need to make fun with each other, or when you need to vent and cry to someone that understands and will agree with every word you say. Or the one you can talk to about really stupid and gross things with no judgment, or someone to shop around a store with for oh say 4 hours or so, and a soul sister that loves you no matter what!

He gave me that because it's everything and more that I have with KB!

So Krystal, I know we don't usually get mushy gushy with each other, but I want you to know that I love you very much, and I appreciate everything single thing you do for me. ♥

the past couple of weeks, so I thought since it is Fall themed this week, and I'm already in a sad mood that I might write about something fun to get my mind off things for at least a few minutes!

So, here we go! :)

1. Nothing says fall like...fresh, crisp air and crunchy leaves beneath my feet!

2. My favorite autumn tradition is...COLLEGE FOOTBALL! Is that considered an autumn tradition? Well, it is in my family anyway!

3. My favorite fall treat is...Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks! How many times have you heard that? ;)

4. Fall makes me think of...comfort! Summer is blazing hot, winter is flippin' freezing, and Spring is usually wet. Fall is beautiful, cool, and perfect.

5. Autumn free form word association, go!...Colorful leaves, pumpkins, football, fresh air, harvest!

6. My go-to outfit in the fall is...a solid colored long sleeved shirt, skinny jeans, a scarf, my leather boots, and cute jewelry!

7. My favorite fall holiday is (Halloween or Thanksgiving)...Thanksgiving without a doubt! It's not because it's "giving thanks" because I do that all year long. But, it's because of the amazing food and family togetherness! ♥

Sweet Beagle Boy

Our sweet beagle passed away this morning.
We're so upset and missing him already!

He started to get sick over the weekend. He wouldn't come out of his doghouse, and he wouldn't eat. Not even bologna! We knew something was wrong, so Mama took him to the vet yesterday morning. Sure enough, he was eaten up with whip worm. The vet gave Mama medicine and told Mama that he needed some nutrients. He told her to make him some mac & cheese to get some starches back in him and to let him drink Gatorade or Sprite!

Mama tried, but he didn't want anything. She made him drink liquids, but as far as food, there was really nothing she could do until he started feeling better. She put him in the barn where he was wrapped up in a warm stall, but as she left him up there she had a bad feeling that he would die.

This morning when she went check on him, he had already passed. :(
It has absolutely broke our hearts.

Beagle Boy was such a sweet, precious dog. So good natured and lovable.
And we're going to miss him so much!

Love you sweet Beagle Boy!

8 Weeks!

8 weeks from today...
will be
CHRISTMAS BREAK!

I am already so excited. I intend on doing nothing but kicking back in my Christmas PJs with a adorable mug full of hot chocolate or french vanilla coffee and watching Christmas movies...
All. Month. Long.

And hopefully, I can invest or receive (hint hint family!) a Kindle Fire, so I can catch up on some reading because the plan is that ALL of my editing will be complete.

Hopefully Christmas break will look something like this...

Oh, I can't wait...
The only things that will be on my to do list are:
-DIY projects
-Family fun
-Movie nights with E
-Spending time with Krys and Brady
-Reading
-And drinking lots of yummy coffee

Sounds perfect to me! ;)

And because 8 weeks might come a little slower than I'd like, I can at least look forward to what's going to happen in 5 weeks...
I'll be home for Thanksgiving getting fat on turkey and dressing!

Yummmmmm. My belly is already growling!

Holidays make life so special, and more so than that, family does.
I sure do love mine, and I'm looking forward to being home and spending time with them this year!

Life's A Witch, Then You Fly!

Last weekend, my parents and I hosted a Halloween party with some of our close friends and neighbors. It really wasn't anything fancy. We used decorations we already had and just made soups and sandwiches. But still, we had a blast! It was so fun, and some of the costumes...well let's just say I probably won't be adding them on here. Haha! But, I will give you a sneak peek of what Lilah and I dressed up as...

Witches!

I found her little costume at Wal-Mart, so I just coordinated my outfit with hers to match! My BFF thrifted the dress and gave it to me. The tights and hat came from the party outlet in my town. And I've had those boots so long that I can't even remember where they came from! :)

I've Been MIA Because School Will Be the Death of Me. Oh, and TOMS rocks my socks..

I've been M.I.A since Thursday because school is about to kill me.
Mentally and physically.

My brain and body feels so overworked, and I'm miserable. I'm losing sleep. I'm skipping meals. I'm falling behind on everything but school, really. So editing pictures for my business is a nightmare.

On Friday, I had a huge test due online. I worked my booty off on that thing.
It was 14 pages total! And I received a 29.25 out of 30 points! That's around a 97! I am stoked and so happy that all of that hard work paid off!

Today, I had a Brit Lit II assignment due. I had to read a freakin' boring ass poem and answer 4 questions referring to at least 2 full quotes for each and citing them using internal citations. Sooo, that was a pain. And I also had a Modified Course Agreement due today along with a Modified Test and extra credit assignment.

It's been pure ridiculousness lately. However, after tomorrow, things will slow down big time. Andddd Friday begins my

3 Beautiful Words

The three most beautiful words I heard today were...

I am so stinkin' excited!

If you go by how many years I've been in college, I'm 'supposed' to graduate Spring 2012 because this is my 4th year. However, I changed my major from Nursing to Secondary Education English pretty late in my career, so the past few semesters, I've been playing catch up on the many classes I needed. I was worried that I was too far behind and that I was looking at being done Spring 2013. However, today I met with my advisor, and he informed me that I'm only one semester behind and looking at student teaching and graduating in Fall 2012! He said even though it's a little early, I can still apply for graduation. And I'm not going to complain because I didn't think I would hear those words for quite a while. ;)

I could have even possibly graduated Spring 2012 if it wasn't for certain classes only being offered during certain times of the year. But, 1 semester of classes and 1 semester of teaching doesn't sound too bad to me right now.

So here's my graduation checklist I'm working on...
1. Apply for graduation
2. Apply for student teaching
3. Register for the Praxis II PLT test
4. Register for the Praxis II Content test
5. Register for the Praxis II Pedagogy test

I know a lot of stress is to come, but I think it will all be worth it.

First, you should know:
1.) My family is as country as hair on a biscuit.
and
2.) We are animal lovers.

Okay, so here we go...
When I was little, my daddy found two small fawns without their mother (at different times and places) while cutting hay. There was a boy and a girl. He brought them home to take care of them because they would die if they didn't have nourishment. We knew we shouldn't get attached, but we did anyway. We fell in love with them, and they became our pets. We had two, precious, gentle, tame, and loving deer!

Their names were Bucky and Doeshy. ♥
(Named after 'buck' and 'doe')

We kept them in a fenced in area behind our house, and we would go inside it to pet and bottle feed them. My friends and cousins always got such a kick out of that! Every time they came over, the first thing they wanted to do was feed and pet the deer!

Of course, they got bigger, and we had to let them go. It was sad, but we knew they needed to be free. We let them out and they ran away, happily ever after.

But...
They returned!

They came back to visit, got some good snacks and petting, and were on their way again. Bucky and Doeshy would visit us often and were just as friendly each time. Daddy even put collars on them. Bucky wore a blue one, and Doeshy wore a red one. Everyone in our neighborhood, community, and town knew those deer were ours, so no one ever bothered them. Bucky got pretty big—a 13 pointer to be exact! He was still gentle as a young deer when he was first getting his antlers, but when he started getting even bigger, Daddy wouldn't let us get too close to him without him there because he didn't know if Bucky would ever turn on us when we were petting him.
He never did. :)

To keep them safe, Daddy would let them roam free during the off season, but once hunting season arrived, Daddy would rope them up and pull them into the barn. And once season was over, he would let them back out! This went one for five years, until Doeshy came back home, and she was sick. We kept her in the barn and took care of her until she died. And around that same time, Bucky was shot and killed by a really mean man! He knew about Bucky and who he belonged to, but he shot him anyway. Bucky hadn't come home yet, and Daddy could not find him to put him up in time. :(

We were absolutely heartbroken...
But there is one surprise I haven't told you yet...

Bucky and Doeshy had children!
And we took care of them in the pin just like we did Bucky and Doeshy.

Their names were Michaela and Sully ♥
(Named after Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman's lead couple)

Michaela and Sully were just as lovable and cute. Once they got bigger, we let them go as well, but they too would stick around and come back for visits. Eventually, we didn't see them anymore, but we were left with wonderful memories of our little family of deer!

Over the years, Daddy has rescued three other baby deer, but none of them made it.
They're names were Bambi, Domino, and the other one was nameless because he died before we came up with one.

I couldn't find pictures of Doeshy, Michaela, or Sully at the moment. We have bins and bins of pictures, so there is really no telling where they are. But, here are the three I found of Bucky!

2 Things!

1. I got my hair done this weekend!
It wasn't exactly what I expected, but my hair dresser did a great job as always! It's just taking me a little bit to get used to it! What do you think? :)

2. Bama STOMPED Florida!
And everyone knows how much I love my Bama boys...
And how much I hate the gators.
So as you can imagine, I am one happy girl today.
I am sure I annoyed all my Twitter friends last night with all my #Bama rantings, but I'm sorry, I was just so excited! :)

- Defense shut down Demps and Rainey.
- Richardson rushed 181 yards (one step closer to a possible Heisman?)
- Florida was unclassy. Players throwing punches and personal fouls. Who would have thought that?
-But the best part for me?
- Bama SHUT those arrogant fans there up.
I loved how quiet it got after awhile. ;)

I'm getting my hair did this Friday—finally! Thank God! I'm not sure how much longer I could wait. These black roots and nasty ends have got to goooo! I usually just get blonde highlights all over. However, in celebration of Fall and to satisfy my craving to change things up, I'm changing the color. Slightly. :)

I'm not going completely brunette again.
Been there. Done that. Didn't like it.

But I do want to add some "lowlights" or light brown into my hair to give it a more subtle, natural look. Then add some pretty blonde highlights to keep things fun.
And maybe a feather too. Who knows. ;)

I Heart Fun Packages

A few weeks ago, I won a giveaway at Ashleigh's lovely blog This Lil Heart of Mine. I was absolutely thrilled and so shocked that I won because I had really been thinking about this giveaway. I had my eye on the prize. ;) I received my package Friday night. It was sitting on the front porch when I got home.

I opened it up to find the most beautiful little wristlet I've ever seen. ;)

It's a Vera Bradley in the pattern "Sittin' in a Tree", and I adore it! It has BIRDS on it, and y'all know how I love birds! :) Ashleigh even added some fun goodies inside.

-Sally Hansen nail polish in "Uptempo Plum"
-Styling lotion by Bumble and bumble.
-Bath & Body Works Shea Cashmere hand cream in "Midnight Pomegranate"
{the smell is to die for!}

And she added some pouporri! I was wondering why the package smelled so good, and as I dug through the tissue, I saw it at the bottom. I am going to put it in a bowl and make my apartment smell amazing for fall!

My Little Sleepy Head

We had an eventful weekend!
We went to a family reunion and we babysat K-Bug.
She is an absolute handful, but we adore her!
She's turning 5 in a couple months,
but it seems like she's going on 13.
She's too smart for her own good.
And she has this preteen attitude going on.

She's growing up way too fast on us.
So we try to enjoy every minute of her!
Her sweetness, cuteness, and even her meanness! :)

So, we played hard this weekend.

Willow the Cat

This is the most heartwarming story.

Willow the cat went missing 5 years ago from her Boulder, Colorado home. The family gave up hope because they thought she had been eaten by coyotes or taken off by an owl in the Rocky Mountain area.

Wednesday, September 14th, the family received a call from a New York animal shelter. Willow had been found by a man on East 20th street in Manhattan. He took her to the shelter where they scanned a microchip and found out just where Willow had came from.

Colorado to New York. An 1800 mile journey!

The family was absolutely shocked! They had searched and searched for her and finally gave up. The mother said, "The kids can’t wait to see her. We still have her little Christmas stocking.”

How stinkin' sweet.
I hope Willow and her family had a wonderful Homecoming! :)

New Design!

I just added my new design, and I am in
L.O.V.E.
I have been planning this design for awhile in my spare time, and I've worked hard the past couple of days to pull it all together. I know there are still some kinks here and there, and some things I'm going to change, but overall I'm so excited!

I combined three of my favorite things...
1. Floral patterns
2. Bird imagery
3. Burlap

I can't wait to keep working on it!

B.o.B!

A couple weeks ago or so, I waited in line for almost 2 hours for floor tickets to the B.o.B concert (also featuring Chiddy Bang) at my school. I liked B.o.B and all of his hits on the radio, but honestly wasn't expecting much from the concert for some reason. I guess because I am more into country and acoustic/indie music. However, I waited for those tickets just for Ethan because I knew he wanted them... :)

Tonight we went to the concert...

And B.o.B rocked my socks.

It was seriously one of the best concerts I've been to in a long time! I have a new appreciation for B.o.B and his music. He's not your average rapper because he talented in so many more ways. I was really blown away, and I know Ethan had so much fun! Every time I looked up at him, he was smiling. :)

When we got home, Ethan spoiled me with some potato soup from O'Charley's.
He. Is. An. Angel!

Then I tried taking a picture with Lilah Belle...
But she obviously was just not having it!

Mama Date and Yard Sale Jackpot!

So, this happened a month ago on August 20th, but I never got to blog it. Mama Opal had her stroke the very next day, and after that, things were just crazy and I just didn't feel like writing it.

However, now I'm ready to tell you about my date with Mama and all of our yard sale-ing awesomeness. ;)

That Saturday Mama and I went on a date to one of our favorite restaurants. We had not had a mother-daughter date in awhile, so we decided to just take off for some good food and quality time together before school started back. I cherish my mother, and I'm so blessed to have a best friend in her.

Sweet tea + cranberry pecan chicken salads + strawberry cake = Heaven!

The restaurant has a boutique in it too. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, so we decided we would each pick out one cheap thing. Mama bought a cute Thanksgiving sign for $10. Then, we went to the consignment shop that is connected with it, and I found this treasure!

An ancient bowl for $5! I absolutely love old dishes, and this one is a fabulous one to add to my collection!

After that, we headed home, but little did we know we would be doing some more shopping! As we were driving, we saw a yard sale, so we stopped to see what they had left. They were closing down, and they wanted to get rid of everything. The girl marked EVERYTHING down DIRT CHEAP!

I walked away with...
-Two black pairs of Old Navy dress pants ($0.50 each)
-A gray pair of Old Navy dress pants ($0.50)
-A brown sweater dress ($0.50)
-A blue jean dress with a gorgeous zipper! ($0.50)
-A black and purple Lauren Conrad skirt ($0.50)
-A designer belt ($0.25)
-A pair of earrings for Mama ($0.25)
-Two candlestick holders for a future project ($0.25)

ALL FOR $3.75!!!

And since we had such an amazing deal there, we decided to hit another one up on the way home where I got...
-4 new DVDs for $10 to add to my huge collection ($10)
-A boho purse ($1)
-A vintage Santa ($0.75)
-Old Christmas ornaments ($0.25)

and the biggie?...
A LOUIS VUITTON FOR $10!!
{I'm sure it's a replica! But it looks real, and Mama and I thought it was so pretty!}

I love a good yard sale.
I love an awesome bargain
And more than that, I love days spent with my Mama!
It was a simply awesome day.

The Ultimate Revenge

I am a very blessed girl.

I have my soul mate, a supporting and loving family, wonderful friends, and an incredible best friend in my life that I wouldn't trade for the world.

I also have peace in my heart because I have God in it.
And I know despite all the pain and heartbreak I've been through this past year,
He is on my side—always.

So, I will not strike back and stoop to that level.
I will not react to spiteful words.
I will not retaliate to hurtful actions.
I'm just going to sit back and let Karma do the work for me.

It may be today, next week, or in 5 years...
But someday it will be known what pain was caused.
And it will be too late.

And all along, I'll still be blessed and happy.

And to me, that is
the ultimate revenge.

Saturday Seven // Shows I'm Excited About

Next week is...
PREMIERE WEEK!!!!

And I watch ~~a little too much~~ a lot of TV. But the way I look at it is instead of partying and going to clubs, I'm at home spending time with my loved ones, curled up in my PJ's, and watching my favorite shows on DVR! I just googled the lineups for next week, so I'm going to share with you the 7 shows I'm excited to watch! Plus an honorable mention. ;)

1. Two and a Half Men
(September 19th on CBS at 8 central)
This is my Daddy's favorite show, so he records all of them! I'm anxious to see how the show turns out with Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie Sheen! And I have to say I'm pretty excited about Charlie's roast that night on Comedy Central! :)

2. Hawaii 5-0
(September 19th on CBS at 9 central)
Again, Daddy got me hooked on this one! Out of all of these, this one would be the least important to me, but I still really enjoy it!

3. The Middle
(September 21st on CBS at 7 central)
This is Mama's show, and it's hilarious. It's so much like real life, I can't even tell you. A lot of people tell me that Modern Family is really good? I've watched a couple episodes before, but I guess because I didn't really know the story line, I couldn't get into it. Do you like it?

4. Criminal Minds
(September 21st on CBS at 8 central)
I love love love this show. During the summer of 2009, I got on this huge Criminal Minds kick and bought the first two seasons. I wish I could do something in this line of work. It's so interesting to me!

5. Grey's Anatomy
(September 22nd on ABC at 8 central)
Thursday nights will definitely be my favorite nights. Grey's isn't quite as good as it used to be, but I still love it and could never give up on it! :)

6. The Mentalist
(September 22nd on CBS at 9 central)
I love Patrick Jane. So much. The finale last season was amazeballs, and I absolutely can't wait to see this season! This is probably the show I'm most excited for.

7. Revenge and Pan AM!
(Revenge: September 21st on ABC Family at 9 central
Pan Am: September 25 on ABC at 9 central)
7 is a tie for two newbies! Revenge and Pan Am! I know nothing about them other than what I've seen on the previews, but they seem pretty good!

And, I'm already excited about One Tree Hill and Good Christian Belles premiering in 2012 and Pretty Little Liars on January 3rd....just wanted to throw that in there. :)
